I assume it's cap related, because who on Earth would trade for this guy if we're "showcasing him" on the 4th?

If we want anyone other than him on the 4th line we'd need to waive someone, we can't even go with 11f and 7 d with Zub hurt.

We could waive Kubalik himself, which seems like a decent option, but idk that we want to pay him 2.5 to play in the AHL and a move like that probably wouldn't endear ourselves to potentially UFA options this summer

Seeing Norris and Batherson on the 3rd line where they rightfully belong is refreshing to see


5on5, one is a blackhole offensively, and the other one is completely invisible defensively. Not sure how a playoff team can have 2 players like that in their top 6

We can give Norris another shot next year with a healed shoulder to see if he can be a productive top 6 player. Batherson on the other hand just isn't made for 5on5 hockey

Not so... A number of other teams played a couple of games before the Sens returned to the ice to play. Pretty sure they were tied in games played with TOR which played 2 before they faced the Sens.

Yeah I think they have quit on him (hence the 4th line) but are stuck with him on the big team
