Depending on the car it's sometimes easier

When I drive my own car it's small and I have good visibility of the front bumper, so it's very easy to just drive into a spot

When I drive my dad's car it's wider and has a poor turning circle, and I can't really see the front bumper well so I feel it's more likely to hit another car if I'm going in a space with a car either side, so I reverse in using the mirrors, using which I can actually see how close the rear is to the other cars

Also sometimes it's just more convenient to reverse in, and drive straight out when you leave wherever you are

I remember this lady trying to back into a parking spot at costco. It took her like 5 minutes and the whole parking lane was clogged up. I was right behind her and I decided to just wait, but behind me it was honking symphony in B minor

Probably was just trying not to hit the Jangling Man statue

Sometimes I have to back in to the spot. Our car doesn't turn that sharply.

I can't backup for ****, but I've driven a sub 2:00 lap in an e92 M3 at Laguna Seca.

Does that mean I'm a bad driver?

I back into my parking spot at work in the morning because it's less busy than in the afternoon when I leave. Backing into the spot in the mornings means I don't have to crane my neck around to check for cars roaming behind me when I leave during the busier afternoons.
