I would have just played him on the main squad. Who cares if u have 3 reclamation projects underway.

Anyways we apparently are building a big f***ing farm team as well.

i never even liked Timmins much when he was in the OHL, honestly. I don’t really care about this. Seems fine. Whatevs.

A farm team full of farm animals.

wasn’t gonna be a fan but Utalked me into it
So essentially Timmins was the piece included that resulted in us choosing CO’s offer over EDM’s offer. We ended up acquiring Edmonton’s pick in the Zack Kassian trade but unless Douglas turns into anything we should’ve just taken the Edmonton deal 😂

Last season he put up some pts for the Marlies. Doesn't mean he's NHL good, but maybe he'll find his game. He does look a bit wobbly on his skates.

Man, ol' BA really does have a type, doesn't he?
In the past year they've traded for/drafted:
6-9 / 240 C
6-6 / 215 C
6-4 / 220 C
6-3 / 230 LW
6-3 / 230 D
6-2 / 215 D
6-3 / 200 C
6-3 / 210 RW
6-5 / 220 D
6-7 / 200 D

BA is most definitely a man with a plan....and sticking to that plan.

BA setting up the "you owe me one" card with Dubas - hopefully he gets a chance to play it before Dubas gets the axe.
He should have more than one of those. Last year we took Ritchie off their hands and gave them Lybushkin, who they really needed at the time.

Chayka had a plan as well, was the most active trading GM in the NHL. Results are all that matter.

Plan A - analytics approach exclusively led by a 26 year old humanoid who hired questionable staff (at best) and made trades like an HFBoards gamer.

Plan B - inclusive approach emphasizes size/speed with the NHL’s largest development staff led by a highly respected/experienced front office manager with a clearly articulated long term plan.

It is about results, but which of these 2 plans has a better chance to succeed knowing this is the NHL not a startup tech company?
