of course we haven't found a way out of this slump, the team has clear and obvious issues that won't be solved without making trades so I really don't get why some people are just giving up and expecting this team to get out of this without making the necessary changes

What do you think a realistic outcome is? Add 2-3 depth forwards. Does that change our chances in a 7 game series vs Colorado, Dallas, Minnesota, Vegas?

Our chances rely on Hellebucyk getting hot no matter what. Front office makes cursory moves to appease the core group that is the real problem in terms of this franchise contending. That core group just isn't good enough and appears to be toxic really. Some of them have zero self-awareness, others have one foot out the door.

adding a 3rd scoring line would help this team so much, idk why you list dallas wild and vegas with colorado... our top 6 has to score 3 goals a night in order for us to win right now, that is way to much to ask and has taken it's toll

This group pretty openly had severe locker room issues last season.

Coach changed, players didn't. Don't think it's a huge leap to think those issues emerge again when things get tough.

I don't expect much either - he likely sees the bigger issue at this point.
