OT: Autographs/Hockey Cards Thread

I've never used e-packs before...does that mean I can open packs, and have the cards shipped to me? Like all of them?

Yes you can request the physical cards to be sent to you (you can also trade on e-pack and transfer to COMC to sell). Some cards are NOT available for shipment but those are usually base cards. You can also "combine" cards to redeem for exclusive parallels. I am not sure if the base UD cards can be shipped but the YGs, inserts, etc. are all can be.

Michael Mersch- captain of the Rochester Americans. Took about a month and a half.

Zam Plante- drafted 150th overall by Pittsburgh in 2022. Took about 15 months. He added a signed picture with an apology note- "Sorry it took so long. I hope all is well in (my hometown)." Thought it was really nice of him, though he doesn't have to apologize for prioritizing his career over some guy asking for his autograph, lol. Iirc, Zam is Derek's son.

Tom Lawson- former goalie for Hershey, from 2003-2005. Lawson played 59 games for Hershey in two seasons and put up pretty decent numbers, but was out of the AHL soon after. He played a few years in Europe and included a couple KHL cards from his years there. I sent to the goalie school he helps run in Ontario. Return took about a month and a half.

I'll have to check it out. The only two gamers I have are former Bears but different teams. It astounds me how much actual Bears gamers are listed for online. Even depth guys and plugs, people want $7-800+ dollars for. I know I wouldn't stand a chance at one of the
postgame specialty jersey auctions; all of those go for over $1000, no matter the player.

I've considered buying some of their Caps jerseys on Meigray before. Just am never sure if I wanna plunk down $250-300 for a game issued or preseason jersey (at least the latter is actually worn I suppose). Given that MeiGray and Wash are actually officially partnered I might have to pull the trigger sometime. Unfortunately my pockets are shallow and I have plenty of other expensive hobbies to drain my account, lol. There is one for a good price I'm eyeballing now, just reluctant to drop the money on something that'll probably spend most of the time hanging in my closet.

Full disclosure, I had this 90% typed at lunch but got totally sidetracked and forgot to finish it till now.

Will have to add his Young Guns, they're pretty cheap. Unfortunately got a very uncertain job situation right now so I can't go too hog wild.

Roe played for the Phantoms a little over a decade ago. He spent the last 10 years in Europe and came back to NA after his mother passed (cancer) this summer. Hence why I included him in his Hockey Fights Cancer jersey for the card. He's quickly become a big fan favorite here and seems like a genuinely good dude. Definitely a guy I'm happy to root for.
