We are currently in round one of the draft, the team just picked Kevin Korchinski and still has seven more picks in the draft, plus all of their draft picks are still owned by the team so you're not going to be picking up a long-term project to rebuild a dying franchise.
Free agency will probably start in the next 7-10 days and our 17th regular season will begin within the next month. The league simulates two seasons per calendar year with two free agent periods and one draft. There is very little down time and EVERY manager is active, it's not a league with half of the GMs being MIA.
