I don’t think anyone ever denied that Snow and his scouts made some great picks. But there’s also no denying he SUCKED in most other areas as a GM.
He was also the outstanding when it came to negotiating contracts.I don’t think anyone ever denied that Snow and his scouts made some great picks. But there’s also no denying he SUCKED in most other areas as a GM.
For RFAs, yes. Not so much when it came to UFA contracts though. He was also the outstanding when it came to negotiating contracts.
Great that Lou found that gem. Oh, wait. Does count if he wasn't a Lou pick
including JHS. and he had nothing but good things to say about LL.Interestingly, Lou has signed ALL of our own draft picks by the time they needed to be signed, be it to an ELC or an AHL contract (Coskey, Bibeau, Pastujov), and regardless of whether they were drafted by Snow or not.
There's not been one who has just been allowed to walk without getting a look in the organization.

LL treats people like family. and it shows.
Yeah, maybe it does. Nelson was a Snow pick. But I give Lou/Trotz credit for making him a player. It's one thing to pick them, and another entirely to develop them.Great that Lou found that gem. Oh, wait. Does count if he wasn't a Lou pick

Snow did a solid job with drafting. That’s a main reason why LL kept the scouts.I don’t think anyone ever denied that Snow and his scouts made some great picks. But there’s also no denying he SUCKED in most other areas as a GM.
RIP Leddy. They gave Salo a single digit number already. Must think he’s the real deal.
Doesn't Lamoriello just go in order usually?
Most likely. But it makes me feel better to think Salo was anointed instead of just wearing his same 45

As long as it's not like this I'm happy.
I am glad Greene has #4 already. For 2 reasons, Orr and Gerig. #2, no pressure, all he has to do now is be better than Mark Streit.
And another question answered, Salo slotted on the right side to start.
