You are all delusional and would be killing any other team had they done this
Uhhh no I wouldn't.
You are all delusional and would be killing any other team had they done this
You clearly didn't read all the posts in this thread... Why don't you get lost, please
Read the article posted at the top of every page. He has apologized. So 8 months ago makes it ok now? No big deal especially since she says he has not apologized and she has not forgiven him?
Mister is unable to digest something else than his entitled opinion?it was inferred to those that defend the pick.
Mailloux went to Sweden, where he played for Lejon in the Hockey Ettan, the third division of Swedish Men’s Hockey.
Mister is unable to digest something else than his entitled opinion?
Here's another aspect the Logan defenders are completely glossing over
The Habs did not contact the victim prior to the selection. They said they plan to reach out to them later.
You realize legally he paid a fine in Sweden and that was it.Playing pro sports is a privilege not a right. Its not about being legally allowed to play.
The fact that you always try to make this be some sort of war is just mindboggling for me...Here's another aspect the Logan defenders are completely glossing over

That is a prepared act of omission. They didn't want the additional context so they could select him.
How do you know if the player deserves a second chance at this time without consulting the victim?
it was inferred to those that defend the pick.
PR genius that guyMB has to always find a way to have the spotlight shining on himself even if it is for the wrong reasons.
Character is doing the right thing even when it hurts. This kid is devoid of it. Lack of parenting mostly. Have said that it can be developed, even in later years. No! It's not evident at all!
Him showing his teammates those pics is not really proof of some sort of lack of character.
And we're talking about a 17-year-old kid here...
We should probably define what that mythical character even means before arguing..
People should be asking the real reason why Chelios and Turcotte were so unceremoniously traded.Yes, I partied with a visiting team in Mtl after a game in the 80’s. It was like animal house mixed into a porn film. People are snowflakes nowadays….not that what he did was right. He deserved a beating.
So is he devoided of it or he can still be salvaged? There's no grey zone on this board! You have to pick a side!Character is doing the right thing even when it hurts. This kid is devoid of it. Lack of parenting mostly. Have said that it can be developed, even in later years.

We're all Habs fans here for god sake! I hope we are! Sometimes I feel like it's not the case though...
Can you tell me why do you always question everything this organization does?
But it goes a lot farther than just questioning, you're usually convinced they royally f***ed up!
And this is just another example of the same behavior...
The entire planet knows who Logan Mailloux is and what he did FFS!
Is that minimizing enough for you?
After reading criminal I just stopped.I don't think this has anything to do with being a Habs fan or even a hockey fan. Our values and moral are different. Some don't mind having a criminal in their teams and others don't accept that.
Where do you draw the line, what kind of infraction would you accept? Racism? Domestic violence? Child pornography distribution? We kicked Kassian out without playing a single for being drunk inside a car that got into an accident.
I'm pretty sure if we blasted MB for not picking this kid you would defend MB for not damaging the team's image etc.
Not “accused”; he’s already been found guilty. He's accused of filming and distributing a sexual event with a girl without her consent
Considering that Caufield was projected to go higher and has no known character issues and this guy was projected to go lower and has character issues and a criminal record, to me it feels literally nothing the same.It feels a bit like the Caufield pick: totally unexpected and definitely feels like Timmins and company feel he's the best talent available.
You don't get to define character to me. To me, something like that is a complete lack of character. Can he change? Sure. But right now, he's a dick. I don't care if he's 17. That's not too young to know right from wrong. No! It's not evident at all!
