How do you even let Doug Fister take the mound with your season on the line? Start Kimbrel for all I care. Or Price for 3-4 innings. Fister is capable of giving up a monster inning at any time. Can't allow that when the season will be over.

It's amazing how much of a repeat of last season this is. Decent regular season, overall a success but some obvious holes, finish 93-69 and win the AL East. Then the pitching implodes and they get swept in the first round by a superior team.

I hope they somehow rally and make my final sentence incorrect but I don't have much faith in that.

The potential upside is this should get Farrell canned.
