So Matthew Tkachuk as a Conn Smythe candidate didn’t become a thing.

i think if he didn't get hurt and this thing went 7 games he had a real shot even on the losing team

Severson wore #7 in juniors (Sean Kuraly has that for CLB) and he kept it as part of his social media accounts. So maybe it's a weird mashup of his junior number and the pro number that Lou assigned him.

I had been so focused on Bratt that I didn't even notice that the Blackhawks won the draft Lottery.

That's outstanding as Bedard won't be in the East making things even tougher for us.

I admit that Chicago was the last team I expected to get him but at least f'n Vancouver not only didn't get the #1 selection but they weren't even in the Top 10 (#11).

GOOD. After what they did to Boudreau, they can SUCK IT!

I remember this as the Matt Beleskey year (2015 offseason). Fans were saying he was going to get an insane contract from his postseason, and he instead got just a horrible $3.8m x 4 deal.
