So frustrating what Jackets, Wild, Thrasher and Preds fans had to endure compared to the sweetheart deal the league threw Vegas. Columbus, Atlanta and Nashville fans being told year over year how they didn't deserve a team because of attendance when we had crap teams over and over, meanwhile Hurricanes, Avs and Dallas win Cups with other cities' teams they swiped and are the poster children of NHL cities.
Don't make me cheer for Jeff Carter :-(

As for Vegas, if I'm correct, NHL teams could only freeze 1 goalie and 9 skaters.. Unreal... Vegas is an all-star team...

Just heard an insane stat. Karlsson had 28 goals on home ice. Panarin led the CBJ with 27. Everywhere.

2000 Protection Rules with both WILD and JACKETS picking leftovers from 26 Teams (ATLANTA and NASHVILLE teams were exempt):
9 Forwards, 5 Defensemen and 1 Goalie OR 7 Forwards, 3 Defensemen and 2 Goalies
2017 Protection Rules with only VEGAS picking from all 30 teams
7 Forwards, 3 Defensemen and 1 Goalie OR any 8 skaters and 1 Goalie

Ok how about this...
Jeff Carter takes a slapshot to the nuts. Then while he's down, the rebound is one-timed back at him and hits him in the nuts again, destroying both testicles.
The Kings then rally around him and sweep the Knights, but then remember how much they really don't care about Jeff or his nuts, and lose the next series to Anaheim.
