he's not in Matthews tier. not remotely close. nylander and marner are his comparables. and he's starting to fall short.

When he has run his own line in the past and the team was garbage he hit 51 points in 72 games.
And then last year he had lesser line mates and was doing good except the team wanted to give the top line a boost so he got put with McDavid.
Without Matthews Nylander is a 45 point player. See your logic?
