Which are huge attributes. I know he will put up the points in the AHL, there is no doubting his skill, but those aforementioned physical skills need to develop or he will never make it.this kid Nylander is going to be a stud on the PP at the NHL level...
He literally looked like Karlsson playing the right point there. His puck control and passing is top notch and mentally his vision, poise and offensive positioning is all off the charts.
Its just gonna come down to work ethic and how well he can do in tight battles along the wall and how he handles physicality.
On a side note, interesting to see how smaller forwards are doing increasingly well in the AHL...I don't think it's ever been like this. Hudon, Brown, Leipsic, Grimaldi, Nylander, Pastrnak all tearing up the AHL as rookies, and undersized ones at that.
