Is that after it went down after no points and a -3 in 2 games, or is this a thing where you think value can only go up based on tiny sample sizes?value just went up with that explosive move and finish
But why would Ottawa even put their team in Columbus’ place to begin with? But he cant magically up and leave, so No youre still wrong.

His play right now is downright disgraceful. If you aren’t going to put in the effort to help your GM get a good return for you, you have no right to demand a trade.
If he doesn’t want to play in CLB I don’t see OTT being a team he wants to play for as well. Why would they trade away players, prospects or picks for him to do the same in Ottawa; even if you have him as a RFA.What place? he's an RFA for 4 years.....

Any rumors as to why he actually wants to leave? It can't just be that he wants a bigger stage right? He's getting #1C ice time and he's bound to get paid like one. Is it a Torts issue? Can any Jackets fans chime in?
There's been 4 threads of speculation on this.
I can't be arsed to read through 4 threads of shitty trade proposals TBH.
Hes an RFA for four more years.....
Why do you not understand that concept?
So CLB should tell him to eat dirt and play for them until he hits UFA

I get the RFA part of it. If he’s publicly stated though he doesn’t want to play there then he’s not going to play 100%. I’m not just going to keep him because I can.Hes an RFA for four more years.....

Why not? It's what he signed up for when he was drafted.
Which is likely going to happen.
His only public statement on the matter is that he intends to be the best teammate he can be regardless.I get the RFA part of it. If he’s publicly stated though he doesn’t want to play there then he’s not going to play 100%. I’m not just going to keep him because I can.
TBH he certainly hasnt done that. He looks completely uninterested out there. His only public statement on the matter is that he intends to be the best teammate he can be regardless.
What a load of crap.
Did better as the game went on in today's case.TBH he certainly hasnt done that. He looks completely uninterested out there.
We don’t need Branstrom, stop sending us a guy you don’t needTo Ottawa: Pierre-Luc Dubois
To Columbus: Josh Norris, Erik Brannstrom, 2021 1st round pick (top 3 protected)
This depends on if PLD is willing to sign long term in Ottawa ofc
Josh Norris is currently playing top 6 minutes for Ottawa and has been decent to start the season (2 assists in 2 games). He put up 61 points in 56 games last season and won AHL rookie of the year as a 20 year old. He is NHL ready and has 1st line center potential. He was the main piece (at the time) in the Erik Karlsson trade.
Erik Brannstrom is one of the best D prospects in the league. He captained Sweden at the WJC in 2019, and was named to the all star team. He put up 23 points in 27 games as a 20 year old in the AHL. He has top pairing potential and was the main piece in the Mark Stone trade.
I would expect the 1st round pick to be around 7 to 14.
You can't sign PLD yet. So, nobody would know.To Ottawa: Pierre-Luc Dubois
