Shit, you caught me. I have brought great shame to my family.Should have been, but apparently not to the people critical to making such a signing happen.
One 1st w/ MAF? OK, would match what St. Louis had to lob at Philadelphia to unload Lehtera's albatross of a contract.
Two? Not a chance.
That's bullshit, because all of these are the more accurate comments that would be made by Pierre:
Still less than the shame Pierre has brought to his broadcast partners at times with various cringe-worthy comments, so you can always hold your head up high in that regard.Shit, you caught me. I have brought great shame to my family.
Vegas looks like they're dead set on this. Other teams will try to make the moves neccessary for this to fit as expensive as possible . Going to be interesting how this plays out. At this point i don't even know if there's a plan for Vegas or Pietro if the team can't find a way to clear the capspace.
Doesn't look like it.
Is there anything prohibiting Vegas from trading for a player that elected arbitration, say Josh Ho-Sang, to open up that buyout window?
There's figures penciled in on a sheet, dependent on how Alex and his wife do at the casinos tonight. The more they win at the Golden Nugget, the less Vegas has to pay on that contract.According to Lebrun, he will also be doing stuff tomorrow during his ufa visit.
So he and his wife are probably spending the night.

couldn’t they just send someone to Robidas Island, or outright waive someone like Tampa did with Tyler Johnson? If nobody is willing to take MAF, cut him.
I imagine they’d still have to pay him, but he’d be off the roster and cap, wouldn’t he?
I think people keep missing the big picture re: a buyout. If they can afford the cap hit from a buyout, they can afford to retain 2.5m, which would make for a fairly simple and straight forward trade of MAF @ 4.5m.
But Ho-Sang currently has no contract though so there's no savings
So with St Louis, Columbus, Boston and TO out... aside from Vegas, is anyone else IN?

I’m talking about a Fleury buyout. The Knights don’t have any arb cases that open the 2nd buyout window. Can they acquire one for that purpose?
yep. Have to be on team at the deadline

Whats even the money thats rumors for Pietro close to $10 million for the full 7 years i would assume ? If so Vegas needs so major moves. A retained Fleury would not be enough . Hell i'm not sure 100% of Fleury salary gone is enough by ittself.
If AP had played in Vancouver last year I would say yes....Calgary?
Maybe they know something we don't know ?
For example, they know a player's medical condition than the average fan would, and one of their high priced guys is likely to be on LTIR at the start of the season. And they really have a lot longer window to work out deals to get compliant.
