8 goal in 11 games now for Alexander Nylander with the Blue Jackets. Seems pretty note worthy.

Former 8th overall pick, clearly has talent, but he's been a total bust until now. Scored roughly 35% of his career goals in the last 11 games since getting to CLB.

Can this guy make a late break to become a good NHL'er? Has he finally found his fit?

Hes been good. I havent seen him play a ton outside of Columbus but for the little I did it seems like hes making plays he wouldnt before. Still has the odd gaffes like most players but nothing extreme.

Will potentially be a fight next year depending on trades. Right now there is room with Fantilli, Johnson, Chinakhov and Laine out. Hes earned a chance to fight for a spot though for sure

Always wondered what differentiates a village from a hamlet. If an NHL team plays in either, it's probably bad business.
City > town > village > hamlet

In Britain, Oxford defines a hamlet as a small settlement of houses and associated buildings, but without a central structure like a Church or maybe inn, for what that's worth.

no worries, he does this thing every now and then, but then suddenly disappears again :)

18-19 : 2 goals, 4 points in 3 games
19-20 : 2 goals, 5 points in 5 games

and now this

Always knew there was something there but I’m amazed to see it showing up now.

Also, today I learned what a hamlet is.

I do not know anything about this guy but sometimes late development is nobody's fault. Sometimes guys just mature later than others. Would be nice to see him become a solid pro.

Yes. We also had 2 guys on our team that we thought we expendable named Karlsson and Marchessault... they led their team to a Stanley Cup. We actually paid VGK to take Wild Bill. Maybe this is karma repaying us?
