Not excited about that line at all. 92 tends to overpass all the time which raises amount of turnovers with less skilled players. Vrana is one and done at this point. Can be dangerous off the rush but have troubles with hanging onto the puck which he needs if he wants to excel with Kuzy. Stephenson is a bottom-6 player, dont think he will ever be better than he is now with any center on the roster.Sounds fast, excited to see what that second line can do. If Kuzy is as good as he seems it would be great if he can start carrying some lesser wingers and giving them a boost - will make matchups in the playoffs difficult for our opponents
20 missed shots for this line. (hope not)Sounds fast, excited to see what that second line can do. If Kuzy is as good as he seems it would be great if he can start carrying some lesser wingers and giving them a boost - will make matchups in the playoffs difficult for our opponents
Just to finish up some business from the last GDT. The Caps pk currently ranks 28th. Last season it was 15th. I will take 15th over 28th everytime. The difference last game between 15th and 28th was Beagle, Wilson, Carlson and Orpik. Next?
You’d rather have those guys but they weren’t satisfied with 15th so TR said they’re transitioning from a box to a diamond so growing pains there aren’t helping.Just to finish up some business from the last GDT. On the left it’s to the left of the 78 Bullets banner, can’t remember if it’s on the same track as the Caps retired numbers or further back.Just curious, where is SC banner?
I would take 15th over 28th as well. It shows that it is probably our pk system that us the problem this year. We struggled last year as well. I'm sure our pk had a good run late in the season to get us to 15th. I'm sure we were ranked between 20th and 25th for a good part of the season.Just to finish up some business from the last GDT.
