He's been a good 4th liner and PKer. Some were so blinded by the zero goals which, yes, was a problem but the guy hustles like crazy, is a good forechecker and the puck generally goes in the right direction when he's on the ice. He also could have had numerous more assists setting others up especially earlier in the season. He's a guy you want on your playoff roster.

That last line is a bit of a stretch hoping he is remotely the player he used to be.
If we were sellers at the deadline no one would have traded for Brown. He is fine on the roster but he isn’t a guy you specifically want. He is the guy you accept he has, and hope he can do more.

Its a neat site but sometimes the math doesn’t work. Like the Draisaitl goal. It has a very low expected GF, and that location is probably pretty low for 95% of players but we have seen Draisaitl score so many goals from there. The model just doesn’t work sometimes.
