I held out hope he had improved something over the summer be it skating, strength, agility, shooting anything... but he looks exactly the same if not even a worse version of himself. The team is already bending over backwards to accommodate him. He doesn't fit on PP1 or PP2 and any line you put him on gets wonky.

Where do you go from here?

The actual regular season.

Laf seems to be OK positionally most of the time but he's just so limp looking. During the 6 on 5, he won a couple of pucks back to keep his team in possession but he's just kinda just there

That's the question....

either force feed him top6RW minutes and 'hope it clicks'.
Put him back on the 3rd line and 'hope it clicks'
or trade him.

So, it's 'hope' or asset management at this point.

He looks a lot like the vets tbh. Slow to act. Sluggish. Telegraph the play. Turn it over.

They are also asking him to play RW when he has been playing LW so maybe not that easy to make the change.

That's the demon we all have to band together, hunt and kill in order for Laf to break out.

I believe it will also take some type of high level, oceans 11 type of diamond heist.
MSG: uh, what woman? There was no woman there during that interview

Well at least the 'we hate Laf' crew are positively rock hard rn.
well ahh we all want to be rock hard for our significant others, porno images or even a heffer from a dive bar that is known to have plenty amounts of vomit and diarrhea for a desperate quickie, and not for the the ineffectiveness of our main draft pick. but the preseason performances of 13 are just stronger than 4 blue pills.

Yes!

But also no. Frankly, all the leash in the world should be extended to Laf because we need him to become effective, or appealing to other teams.

It sucks, because Kakko deserves those opportunities more, but he can function as a 3rdliner as well.
I didn't watch a second before this and I didn't watch a second after this so how the f*** did we get +15 pages more on a pre-season game someone tell me.
