Wasn't Kessel passed over for the team before the injury was known?
The only USA player that should be able to look themselves in the mirror after that period is McDonagh. Everyone else was trash.
Edit: And lol at Kings fans coming and defend Jonathan "Quick watch me let in three goals".
Should be the first time he's seen himself since Saturday's abortion then because he was the worst player on the ice.
As for Quick, he's a great goalie. Don't need to "defend" him against legit criticisms, but the hyperbole in here is insane. Of course, it's mostly trolls who have lost to Quick in the SCFs and/or their favorite goalie isn't playing so "lol" indeed at Kings fans even responding to this tripe.
Maybe Quick isn't at fault for them being down, though the second goal was terrible rebound control, but he sure as hell isn't making many tough saves. The gap in talent between the teams is monumental and the U.S. needed their goalie to steal the game. Problem is, they chose the worst one on the roster
Fill me in: why isn't Shattenkirk on the team?

Yes and it was a good decision. As much as some folk are typically whining about the USA team Kessel would only make them worse. As a Canadian I was hoping they would pick him.
For once, I will agree with you. I would have started Corey.
Yeah, because Schiender looked soooo good in game two vs Canada.
Gord sighting!
