Much improved plus/minus in his return to JyP after a season in the AHL (though JyP is once again in the lower end of Liiga).

Assuming the Hurricanes have an affiliate agreement next season, does he come back to North America or is he destined to play the rest of his career overseas?

I think he'll be back in NA. He was the last of our guys to be loaned out to his European club this season after training camp, and I'm pretty sure most of us would rather have him as our #8 dman than Coughlan at this point.

Honestly I'd be curious to see how he looks in the NHL this year. He's had a solid season in the AHL. But so did Ryan Murphy for awhile.

It's not unheard of for guys to improve. I think he's perfectly fine depth to have around.
