Devils team scope: General manager Lou Lamoriello said no decisions will be made on whether or not forwards Michael Ryder or Martin Havlat will return to the lineup until Friday, according to Northjersey.com. The Devils improved to 8-2-1 in the past 11 games at Prudential Center after a 3-1 victory against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. Schneider, the expected starter, made 33 saves to improve to 12-5-2 with two shutouts, a 1.66 goals-against average and .946 save percentage in 21 games in the 2015 calendar year. Defenseman Adam Larsson has established career highs this season with three goals and 19 points and Mike Cammalleri is on a seven-game point streak, scoring six goals and nine points over that stretch.

Blue Jackets team scope: Center Brandon Dubinsky, who missed three games after sustaining a concussion on Feb. 26, will return to the lineup, according to The Columbus Dispatch. Defenseman Kevin Connauton (lower body) will miss his fifth straight game. Right wing David Clarkson, acquired in a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs for right wing Nathan Horton on Feb. 26, sustained a torn oblique muscle in a 5-3 loss against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday and will miss 4-6 weeks. Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, the expected starter against the Devils, returned to the lineup Tuesday after missing 17 games with a groin injury sustained on Jan. 21 and made 28 saves. Scott Hartnell had two goals for Columbus, 0-6-1 in the past seven games. "We're trying to win games. Guys are playing for spots. Guys are playing for ice time. You're playing for yourself, but ultimately you don't want to be the laughing stock of the League," Hartnell said.
