26x60m is about the same size as the NHL uses and is what Sochi(and SKA for that matter) uses

28x60m is the other size a bunch of KHL teams use and is also what FInland uses

30x60 is what the IIHF and Sweden(and I think other European leagues?) uses

Yeah, but when your home rink is NHL size, majority of games (at least 50%) are played on smaller one. You also practise on that one.

And man Buch is a gamer. For everyone scratching their head about Cleveland, keep remembering the team still drafts dudes like this as well. He's a home run pick if this kid can translate this scoring across the pond.

It's just a 3-on-3 exhibition tourney

He'll be here at the earliest for the 25-26 sesson, and depending on when he signs the contract, it will be a 2 or 3 year deal. He turns 22 on Sept 6th that year, but I am not sure if it is the date of the contract signing or age when the season starts that counts. A 3 year ELC deal on him would be amazing.

Like said earlier, let him stay there at Russia until 22-23 old.

Then come to NHL as a great producer like Kaprizov, at same time having insane cheap ELC.

Kaprizov had 5 seasons at KHL, and produced:

0.26 points per game (17-yer old)
0.51 points per game
0.85 points per game (19-year old, as Buchelnikov is now)
0.87 points per game
0.89 points per game
1.09 points per game (22-year old)
----------------
Then to NHL and scored:
0.92 points on his rookie season (23-year old at season end))
1.33 points per game
1.12 points per game (last season 2022-23)

That's insane NHL production and can't believe Buchelnikov ever reaching that level. 108-point season from Kaprizov is a superstar level. His average production at NHL is 1.15 points per game, 114+120=234 points in 203 games. Big sample size enough to see that guy is a real deal. He has put up same points as a group of M.Tkachuk, Pastrnak, Crosby, J.Robertson and Stamkos on last 3 seasons.

Buchelnikov is like 1-2 years behind of Kaprizov's development curve, but getting a Top line role could change everything. Also playing a full KHL year will be interesting to see what level his scoring will set up.

Honestly, I'd see the NHLPA considering it a danger to the players, and they might not be wrong. A puck hitting one could cause it to fall on a player.
