So the players who wanted the earlier start to the season for more off days...will end up playing more grueling double headers and play in makeup games on some of those off days anyway. Why were so many games scheduled in the Northeast in late March/early April? It's not like these stadiums have other tenants.

Yeah, it's the same every year at this time it seems like with poor weather postponing games. Pushing the season to a mid to late April start makes sense to me.

I doubt there were really that many fans booing Stanton yesterday, but because the weather was miserable the crowd was small and quiet all game, so there was nothing to drown out a few idiots booing. Glad for Stanton that he immediately responded though.

Severino looking brilliant again. 7 IP, 7 K, 4 H, 1 ER. All on 84 pitches. Doubt they’ll risk his arm even for another inning but he could easily throw a complete game today.

Me too. He just had a great AB against Cody Allen. He hit a single up the middle on the 9th pitch or something.

Of course, Scoscia called to bunt Ohtani to second. Double play...
