Need to get some Josi points. Makar had 1 G and 3 A last night in a big 9-3 win. Only 6 points behind now.
He’s definitely trying. Josi had 10 SOG against the sharks
They weren't really great shots though. His shot selection has to get better, too many of those shots were unscreened logo snipes. If he doesn't have a screen to shot around and doesn't have time to wait for the screen to develop he has to get back to passing to the net front to create chaos or at least shooting into the pads and not at the goalie. That's the way goals are scored this time of year and during the playoffs.

So Luff is out and the Hynes quote sounds like he's going to be playing center so I'm guessing 4th line C between Kunin and Cousins.
Welcome back, Cody. Too bad you didn't bring your top linemates with the Admirals with you cuz centering Kunin and Cousins is not a recipe for point production.

I think this is the first time Edmonton will be here since the night of the tornados.
And I guess since we're playing them again it was fitting that last night all those storms came through.

It has been awhile- if I am correct last time was March 2, 2020. And that was the infamous 8-3 loss where Draisaitl went nuts on us.
Quirk of the schedule, last 2 seasons (not counting Pandemic year) 4 of the last 5 have been in Edmonton.
I went to see Collective Soul at the Ryman that night. Definitely the better choice

Not so much. The team lost five of the games during Josi's point streak ... he scored in all four games in a row the team lost coming out of the all-star break.
