Disagree with some of the ordering, but not an unreasonable list. Would have liked to see Ehlers on the list, but a lot of what he adds isn't on the score sheet so these types of lists often miss those types of players.

Mostly offensive stats build these. None of our stars play defense.

I would tend to agree, also I think if we can get one other line besides lowrys to play solid defence the entire aspect of this team will change.

Well I think that would involve our stars following the defensive zoon playbook. See the Scheifele comment in the Ehlers thread.

I think it has to do with him needing to have more then one elite year to dethrone a bunch of players above him. They likely also saw that he had a career high shooting percentage last year as well.
