Nah man. Dude has been in the league a long time. I'm not getting that feeling there but his beard is definitely more salt than pepper these days.

His rookie year was my freshman year of college, which I know mathematically was ten years ago, but I still think the fact that 2008 was ten years ago is a prank everyone is pulling on me.

Haha, fair enough. My freshman year at university was 16 years ago which seems insane to me now. I went to university at 17 y/o so next year it will have been that long since my first year. That math just isn't right.

I don't want to say that Gabe Kapler overmanaged the Phillies, but *Aaron Nola* was pulled after 68 pitches having yet to give up a run with a 5-0 lead.

Powell with the center left field triple. Let's see if the A's can cash him in for the W.

Semien walks it off. Or should I say, chipped a pop fly into cf. Angels were running a 5 man infield.

Nice walkoff dub for the A’s... especially doing it against Anaheim on Opening Day. This may be the only time the A’s will be over .500

nice comeback win for the A's. always feels good beating the angels

"Davis and Olson homer" is something we're going to be hearing a lot in the future

I have Oakland surprising many people this year, unfortunate that Puk will not contribute to them this year but I could see them in the wild card hunt. Should be a fun year in Oakland regardless.

The humidor in Arizona isn’t working if LeMahieu is hitting a home run

When was the last time most MLB teams had opening day not on a Monday?

Feels like we’ve gotten so used to MLB starting with a game or two on Sunday, then the majority of other teams start on the Monday that coincides with the NCAA Basketball title game.

So it's crazy to say anyone is going to hit 60 home runs, but with over 100 games at Yankee Stadium, Fenway, Sky Dome, and Camden, it's probably less crazy to say that about Stanton than just about anyone ever on March 29.

And considering last year he hit 59 with over 100 games at Marlins Park, CitiField, Nationals Park, Atlanta......

puk still needs to develop quite a bit

him getting TJ surgery is obviously terrible news and it really sucks he's going to miss a whole year of development but it couldn't happen at a better time
