You've already admitted you're only judging Ho-Sang this game so not sure what to tell you. I'm talking about the entire season and tonight's game is one chapter in a very sloppy book for Ho-Sang.
If we're going to judge rookies by a very limited career set, then I don't know what to tell you either. Guess we should've just branded so many late bloomers a bust early in their careers. I'm not saying he'll light the world on fire or be a hall of fame inductee. I'm saying he had a good game tonight and one turn-over isn't the reason to bench him when the golden boy, the golden rookie, and our brand new shiny winger all had turnovers. Ho-Sang played better than all but ONE of them, now that the complete game is over. Oh, and he's doing it with a much, much, worse set of linemates.
How about we take the good game and see if he builds on it, or perhaps is COACHED to building on it? You know... that's how rookies are intended to improve, right?
Or, instead, we can just crucify every mistake everyone makes because what else is there to do in Islander country.
EDIT: And while Ho-Sang was benched, the final 6 players on the ice had 2 KILLER turnovers that led to a goal. Guess we should bench them all. Very sloppy.
