Is there a difference between an OT win and a SO win i the OUA?

And what is this???? Not the best picture, but the circled portion top right.
They use ROW as a tiebreaker, just lIke in the NHL. SO wins get the same number of points as an OT win but don’t count in ROW. So basically an OT win is more valuable than a SO win if it gets to a tiebreaker.

Biased, but glad to see Laurier get in. 9 of their players are graduating seniors including 5 of their top 7 defencemen, as well as 4 forwards. After losing 12 in a row (dating back to 2018) to Brock, they will be underdogs.

Related, but unrelated - CAR and OTT Womens Teams are leaving RSEQ for OUA in 2024-25 season. That will give OUA 14 teams and RSEQ 4 teams.
Wonder then if RESQ women would opt for an interlock schedule with AUS, as happens now with men's volleyball. They are strong teams and it would certainly benefit AUS women.

I don't think Lakehead is going to be as easy to beat as you think they were tied for the best road team in the oua and 2 of their losses were in the 3rd night of a 3 in 3 when they just ran out of gas if they can find a way to squeak out a game 1 win Going to be very hard to win 2 straight at the Gardens for a road team

Won’t happen but I would love to see it with the men.
The Mens side is not an issue because the 3 Quebec teams play in the OUA East, so there is no need for them to play AUS teams. Travel time would be a factor for both Men and Women plus added expenses.

I personally think they overachieved and playoff hockey is different animal.

If LU can clean up there mistakes in own zone then all bets are off on upset but I don’t see that happening.

Hope I’m wrong

Spanked 4-1 by
Tmu relies too much on Bollers tonight and the last couple weeks Have proven that better hope he finds some healing powers
Bollers is probably done for year.

Spanked 4-1 by the Varsity Blues tonight.
Toronto didn’t spank TMU. TMU played too much outside and couldn’t capitalize on rebounds. Doherty scored when it was 2-1 Toronto which would have made it 2-2 but refs said no goal. Even Alexander thought it was in by his reaction Game 2 I expect different outcome

Big loss for Waterloo, but one-way AHL deals don't come along that often! Walker turned himself from OHL enforcer to one of the biggest offensive threats in the OUA - good on him for earning the opportunity.

Always saw him as one of those players that might just have too much of an edge for the level of officiating in the OUA. There is a big adjustment for major junior guys - especially enforcers - and some guys just excel in a league with more size.
