Nothing about tonight has changed the trajectory of the team. These two games were barometer games to see if were as good as we thought we were. So long as we didn't get swept, we passed the test just fine. All good in my mind. We are one of the elite teams in the league and nothing about tonight has changed that.

Agreed

still have work to do, but that's the fun part when it's this early

This year's TDL is gonna be a lot of fun

Matt Murray is as easy a pick for #1 star as one can get. Even if gave up 3 goals from this point forward. He kept Pens in game when we were buzzing and kept game from getting out of hand. He did to us what Raanta did to the Pens on Monday.

Murray is at least a poster child for why you don't bother with drafting a goalie in the first round.

Over reaction everywhere... we were due a blow out loss. The team still has the same weaknesses:
-defense
-coaching
Strengths
-forwards
-speed

4 goals on 7 shots---- Un****inbelieveable

Pretty clear what's implied here

If you have watched most of the games this year then the fact is that Hank has been a very average goalie and Raanta has been better.

Same implication here

Hank is really bad.

Same here

Good night Hank.

You blow.

Same here

Lolqvist, this is embarassing

That blaming anyone besides Lundqvist?

At what point does Hank start playing better before he just has declined? Its past a bad start now.

...

like your thinking!!!! Not looking like a KING tonite!

Where's the blame here?

Difference has been goaltending. Pretty simple.

Again, goaltending is why we're losing

More average goaltending from the king tonight

Again, goaltending.

No mention of D, breakdown of plays, shot difficulty, lack of possession, lack of backchecking.

All of these blame the goalie - despite 3 out of 4 being terribly difficult to stop.

Yeah, because he never does that.

Some here are just purely LOST. No other way to say it.

i bet if you spoke to hank tonight he would admit he wasnt sharp, as he's done in the past. if nothing else, he mans up. he doesnt run from responsibility. he will be the most upset guy in the room.

playing bad is part of the game.

he wasnt sharp tonight. he still seems off. like he lacks focus. fighting pucks, bad rebounds, playing too deep in the net and lacking the ability to cover corners.

i would ride raanta short term and let henrik work hard in practice and get his mojo back.
