Is the report of there being 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday true? Cause that along with this would mean no western series until Monday?
Makes sense, East is already set. West won’t be set for another couple days.Is the report of there being 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday true? Cause that along with this would mean no western series until Monday?
Suppose so, yea. The last west match up could potentially be unknown until the last game of the season ends.Makes sense, East is already set. West won’t be set for another couple days.
That's correct. Is the report of there being 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday true? Cause that along with this would mean no western series until Monday?
This looks right. Vancouver doesn't start until Tuesday and I wonder if Dallas won't either.
I expect isles-canes game 4 to be on Saturday 4/27. UBS moved PWHL game from Saturday to Sunday (4/28)afternoon a few days back, presumably for that reason. This looks right. Vancouver doesn't start until Tuesday and I wonder if Dallas won't either.

I wonder why the NHL likes the night games for Saturday and the day games for Sunday. I much rather watch hockey at night.

they did this before ESPNThe NHL does what ESPN tells them to do, in this case.
The Rangers didn't have any break going into that series and ran out of gas after game 2.Lightning played Florida during 2nd round not long ago, they finished 4th game of their series before some teams were just starting 2nd game of their series. This kind of time difference should not be happening so soon into playoffs, and it caused Lightning to have like a 9+ day break until ECF's before playing Rangers. Lightning looked cold to the bone at start ECF series. Some teams handle layoffs better than others, Lightning are not one of those teams.
Normally the basketball games are scheduled first since NHL OT games can go on forever, vs NBA OT games that will still end in not too much time.Since ESPN & TNT dictate both league's schedules, it's really up to them.
This x 1000.I wonder why the NHL likes the night games for Saturday and the day games for Sunday. I much rather watch hockey at night.
I presume networks don't want Saturday afternoon games. There are very few Sat afternoon bb games either. This x 1000.
What do you mean?they did this before ESPN
before ESPN got a hold of the NHL rights. When it was NBC NHL usually did Sunday afternoon games. What do you mean?
ESPN has Sunday Night Baseball, they were never getting that slot. NHL knew what was available, even if it wasn't formally announced.
Gotcha.before ESPN got a hold of the NHL rights. When it was NBC NHL usually did Sunday afternoon games.
