In CW, CAL over UofS. Series tied at 1-1.

UBC over UofA for a 1-0 lead.

In OUA, TOR @ LAK, game 3, UQTR @ CAR and BRO @ WSR.

UQTR and WSR lead 1-0.

Trois Rivieres vs Concordia may be an interesting matchup. 3606 in Thunder Bay last night.
UQTR has to beat CAR 1st.
I was referring to the LAK game attendance.
Contrast that with BRO crowd of 150 family and friends.

In CW, CAL with a 6-1 win over UofS to win that series. They will host the winner of UBC-UofA which is going to game 3 Sunday after a 4-3 win by UofA.

Alberta punches their ticket to the University Cup.
This has been rebuilding season for the Golden Bears!
They had a deep team in 2021-22 with AHL Caliber players like Noah Philip (6'3" Right Shot Centre who is 2nd in FWD Goals and EVS Goals in Bakersfield) last season and came up a bounce short in the U Cup final.
As many of you remember Bears crushed Acadia 7-0, blew out X 7-3 before losing 5-4 in Double OT to UQTR in a game in which they outshot Les Patriotes 70-40.
This season has been a grind for the Golden Bears.
Calgary and UBC have lengthy winning streaks in the Canada West and Mount Royal had some higher end skill.
Bears though survived a rapidly-improving UBC squad who are far deeper now than in seasons past...but didn't have the stellar goaltending of Rylan Toth.

3 of 8 spots filled for PEI with ALB and CAL in CW final and UPEI hosting.

AUS will add 2 by Friday (at the latest) and OUA will have 2 by Sunday (or sooner) after their Conference finals. Last spot will go to OUA bronze winner.

And then there were 4.

Add SMU to the list of teams who will be on the Island in 2 weeks.

In the AUS, UNB-UdeM play Wed night with UNB having a 2-1 edge. AUS final probably won't go until Monday??

CON-UQTR and LAK-WSR begin thier best-of-3 Conference finals Wed night.

We can look at possible seeding after the weekend when CW is resolved and OUA is close to being done.

UNB joins the list of teams for PEI.

Waiting on the OUA reps.

CON with a solid 5-1 road win over UQTR and WSR with an equally good 4-0 win at home over LAK.

WSR goes to LAK for 2 games Fri-Sat while CON plays home-and-away Fri and Sun.

CW goes Fri-Sun with CAL hosting ALB.

CON over UQTR (on the road) - I wouldn't have picked that.

I have no idea about CAL/ALB. Given their relative close proximity - will this be @ CAL for all three games or CAL/ALB/CAL?
At Calgary for all three games.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Alberta come out on top.

Thinking way ahead here…but if UQTR has to settle for bronze (and 7th/8th at the UCup), that’s going to be a real tough first game for someone (possibly the AUS champion).

CAL lost 2 exhibition games to ALB in Sept then won both games in regular season.

They had a weird schedule. Played UBC, SASK, MAN, MRU, MAC and REG 4 times but ALB and TWU 2 times.
