Fink or Leslie? Bah, wrong D. Pretty good draft overall by Conroy though. Went all European/Russian which is a heck of a lot different than how we usually pick.

Really hope we get Atillio Biasca in the 7th. He’s a double overager. I’ve liked him in the past few drafts. He always plays so well in the WJs and he’s got the size and speed combo that usually thrives in the NHL. I think he’s got a chance to be a solid bottom 6 guy.

Is it just me or did we draft a lot of skill/sandpaper guys and guys with a style profile to our 2015-2019 cast?

Also, is it just me or does it seem like we've drafted a bunch of players from teams we've scouted and drafted from in the past? (or at least moreso than normal?)

Feels like Conroy told the guys to go back a few steps and shake off some ick and frustration by going to a familiar watering hole. TBH, I think it's looking like a great plan so far.

It also feels a little like Conroy agreed with Treliving's 2015-2019 blueprint. I wonder if he will attempt to go with that skill and sandpaper concept going forward (ie: Similar to what Florida is going to be doing for the next decade ish). I'd be interesting to see and I like the logic.
