No. Playoffs start around the 20. That is 25 days from now. Even if he is out the full four weeks he probably only misses a game. If he can get back in 3.5 weeks he's ready for playoffs.

I actually think the day-to-day injuries are much worse for our club than the longer term injuries. It seems they don't have a good diagnosis or handle on the d2d injuries and thus they just continue to get dragged on. At least it seems with the 2-4 week type injuries they seem to know exactly what the injury and timeline is and barring any major setback, those players usually comeback during that timeframe.

Yeah, but they've also said guys would be out "long-term" before, only to have them return in 2 weeks. Long-term to me = more than a month or two.

Given their injury luck this year I dunno if I’d call that stupid.

They are playing it safe. Being as healthy as possible for the Playoffs seems to be their main goal,
not winning the Division. They are doing it the whole season - giving guys an extra day off etc. to
make sure they are 100% when they return.

We will see if this strategy help them down the line or if not winning the Division will come back and cost them.
