The only series that matters at all is the TBL vs CAR. If TB wins we get 23 (22). If CAR wins we stay at 24 (23).

Leave it to the NHL to complicate things further. If you advance in the playoffs your draft position should get worst. Teams advance,then lose and still pick before teams they beat. The whole thing is ignorant.

Yeah...it's confusing because some people are counting the Coyotes forfeited pick, and some aren't. It's technically 24 OA, but it's truly the 23rd pick.

Probably the safer option, since Mrazek will likely follow this performance up with 4 goals allowed on 19 shots, reminding everybody why he was dealt.

I don't have anything against the guy. But a footnote of a goaltender in Red Wings history certainly isn't more important at the moment than maximizing draft picks.
