My comment re incompetence of TSN and Hockey Canada is mostly in regard to their websites and inabilty to update them with current information like box scores. TSN does a good job broadcastiing the events although there was no reason they couldn't broadcast the 2 red-white games on tv since they have nothing else to show.

Neither Clarke nor Jarvis have made much of a case for themselves, compared to players like Rees

I have the RD as ;
Drysdale
Schneider
Korczak
Barron

Nice mix of offense and defense, size, strength, and skill.

LD;
Byram
Guhle
Harley
ROR

Again, nice mix. ROR would be the last pick, and likely not see much TOI, but he is solid, and I have faith in his IQ and ability to make the right play on ice

I think youre pretty bang on for sure on the top 6:

Byram Drysdale
Schneider Harley
Barron Guhle

Now like someone said in the previous thread, theres a lot of people saying Sebrango could be on this team. I could see him making it over Korzcak or even O'Rourke. All three are similar players, Sebrango is the best skater of the group but my main logic for having him would be, if hes your 8th dman, why not bring the guy that could play a role next year over someone like Korzcak since they play a similar style and are similar calibre players.

Would be surprised if those werent the top 6 to start, but I wouldnt really be surprised at any of the others left making the last two spots

Hockey Canada isn’t great at updating stuff. Their online game is terrible. But leave TSN out of it. Only restrictions put in place by Alberta kept them from broadcasting those last scrimmages. Just a reminder, we’re talking about broadcasting SCRIMMAGES here.

Cue the Allen Iverson “We talkin’ about practice?!” rant. :laugh:

It costs money to broadcast anything so some common sense prevails. And broadcasting isn't simply a matter of holding up an iphone to the glass. There are many parts to the machine. I am so sorry you cannot view a teenager scrimmage but it is not a priority or a money maker. So please stop your whining. And hey, enjoy the tournament when it starts!

Based on those lines it looks like Poulin, Suzuki, Goncalves, Jarvis, and Clarke are on the outs. I think Bourque is a cut as well, but interesting to see him bwteen Perfetti and Rees.

I'd like to find a spot for Jarvis, I'm just not sure I can

Why don't they split up Drysdale and Byram? They were easily the best 2 defensemen in the games I watched.

Some of these things don't really make much sense. Why is white loaded up at center and there are only two centers on red. Incredibly strange.

Their website has this..
Red and White close out game action at Sport Chek selection camp Thursday with an intrasquad scrimmage in Red Deer. Follow along live, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Where's the "follow along live" happening?

White has won every game, I think at this point they're trying to establish chemistry rather than make the game even. Byram and Dach on the same team is probably to practice PP situations and stuff like that.
Exactly what I was thinking... looking like it might be set up to try different PP/PK combinations
