Shuffle those 11 as you see fit, but none are coming out of the lineup. There's one spot to play with between ZAR, Simon, DOC, Boyle, Lafferty etc. Go fish. ZAR in as a defensive specialist doesn't bother me too much, but neither does adding any of those other guys situationally. I'm liking this.

I actually don't hate it considering the slop they've created so far on the PP.

Simon is a smart player and perhaps his vision and his ability to at least put the puck in a successful position for teammates will translate with the man advantage.

Do I want him on L1 for eternity? Certainly not, but I applaud Sully for at least going against the grain a bit here.

Yeah I imagine Zucker just a maintenance day. They had DOC skating on L2 which you know won't stick... so that makes even more sense.

Hell maybe at least Zucker gets a shot on the top PP unit.

Yeah, Simon's real negative is his shot, but dude sees the ice really really well and is an above average passer. He just can't shoot for shit. He's the anti-Ovechkin.

Kap doesn't seem... well-liked by the coach. So I dunno. Kinda impossible to tell with this team.

It SHOULD be Zucker. The dude drives me nuts to watch out there but I think he'd be a positive on the powerplay. It gives him some extra time and space to process the game.

Worst case, if it's a broken bone in the hand, we're probably looking at 3-4 weeks, which is not exactly ideal. But hopefully, it's just like a nasty bone bruise or something.

I guess it'd depend on what he broke. Fingers heal up pretty fast, metatarsals a bit slower in my experience. It could just be also a really nasty bone bruise and swelling.

A deep bone bruise can be extremely painful. I would figure it's a hairline fracture, though. Considering the timeline.

Then again this team (and most NHL teams) say "week to week" and that could mean his hand went gangrenous and fell off and how the hell are we to know?
