Love is in the eye of the beholder.
Roll for save against Charm Person and Petrification.
I just got horrible flashbacks of the Underdark in BG2.

Idk what anything means anymore
Gawd damnit why can't zar just disappear. Sully wants balance and more offense. Getting rid of this turd that won't flush would be a good start. If he isn't the one replaced when geno gets back we should riot.
I told people when Jake returned to play from his hand injury that just because he played didn’t mean anything and of course he’d be announced out week to week per usual….lol…it’s coming true!
Roster spots looking real tough to come by at the moment. Fully healthy:
Guentzel - Crosby - Rust
Heinen - Malkin - Kapanen
Zucker - Carter - Rodrigues
McGinn - Blueger - X
Shuffle those 11 as you see fit, but none are coming out of the lineup. There's one spot to play with between ZAR, Simon, DOC, Boyle, Lafferty etc. Go fish. ZAR in as a defensive specialist doesn't bother me too much, but neither does adding any of those other guys situationally. I'm liking this.
No way. Fully healthy it should 10,000% be this:
Zucker - Crosby - Simon
Guentzel - Malkin - Rust
Heinen - Carter - Kapanen
McGinn - Blueger - Rodrigues
But for real, I don't want GCR.
Someone please tell me Simon on PP1 was a misprint….
“The top power-play group included Carter, Crosby, Letang, Rodrigues and Simon. The second power-play group involved Heinen, Kapanen, Marino, Matheson and O’Connor.”
Penguins forward Jake Guentzel sidelined on a 'week-to-week' basis

I actually don't hate it considering the slop they've created so far on the PP.
Simon is a smart player and perhaps his vision and his ability to at least put the puck in a successful position for teammates will translate with the man advantage.
Do I want him on L1 for eternity? Certainly not, but I applaud Sully for at least going against the grain a bit here.
Would Zucker really be the guy to go on the top PP if Jake was out anyways? Almost think Kapanen would be more likely?
Maybe a sign that Jake is just resting.

Well I guess it came out now that Jake is week to week. Man that sucks.
I wonder what exactly the injury would be that it is week to week. If he broke something, it'd be longer. If it's just a bad bone bruise, he could presumably play through it.
I assume in this case though that "week to week" could mean months. Just gonna go ahead and assume we don't see him again in December at this point.
Yeah, Simon's real negative is his shot, but dude sees the ice really really well and is an above average passer. He just can't shoot for shit. He's the anti-Ovechkin.
So naturally our PP will revolve around moving the puck around to set up Simon for the eventual shot.
Backhand one-timers FTW
With Simon, can you even tell if he's shooting forehand or backhand? Both have around the same velocity.
