Originally the B Sens were expected to have Logan Shaw, Andrew Agozzino, Clark Bishop and Angus Crookshank up front. Crookshank got injured in the rookie tournament, Bishop got injured in preseason and now like you said it looks like Agozzino could make Ottawa's roster. Shaw probably still gets sent down so that should improve things. Parker Kelly and Scott Sabourin could get sent down as well so that would help improve the overall depth.

This situation goes to show the importance of organizational depth though. It only takes a few injuries for a roster to start looking pretty thin.

I get the impression they initially planned to send Pinto down for some games (like Sokolov) but his play has blown the doors off that plan.

We have a number of injuries already. If you look at both teams that includes Ottawa. I thought we would be able to run two practices and do two scrimmages, quite frankly on Tuesday and Wednesday, but our numbers aren't high enough to accomplish that just based on the injury situation."

This is another reason why I find it stupid that we didn't make a waiver claim. Belleville needs Shaw (and the NHL roster does not need him or Sabourin)

Waiver claims are forever. You gotta keep those guys on the roster. That's why someone like Brown doesn't get picked up as a reclamation project, you're stuck with him.
