I mean, how exactly would the NFL effect that change? As @NJDevs26 correctly noted, if someone adamantly doesn't want "help" you cant aid them. Criminal behavior, multiple alleged sexual assaults, and that bizarre film he posted the other day, clearly the guy is self-destructive. When I first heard, "police on scene at AB's home" today, I feared the worst.

"The NFL has reached out to Antonio Brown multiple times in regards to the challenges he faces in his life. We would like to announce that the NFL is here to assist Mr. Brown obtain the best professional care when he feels the time is right."

That announcement costs nothing and doesnt even promise to pay foe anything and most of the rubes that watch the NFL thinks that the NFL cares. It's a PR win. The NFL has shown that they always take the rough road when it comes to PR, except the phony teibutes to women and incessant faux patriotism displays at the expense of the DoD to sell shit.

They could go as far as offering cognitive and behavioral screenings for players at the end of each season so players can make the decision if they want to continue to play.

Surprised Eli wont give it a go with a decent team in search of a QB; he still has a decent year left IMO.

I realize it's impossible to predict the future, but I still contend the Giants would have won the east if they left Eli as the starter all year. This of course is with the 20/20 hindsight that the Cowboys wouldnt be as good as most thought & that the Eagles would be decimated by injuries.

prop bets:

1. become friends with demi levato (who is singing the anthem before the super bowl)

2. find out how long she will be singing it for

3. make a massive bet on either the over or the under

4. become rich as f***

…..how this is even a thing to bet on makes little sense, too easy to determine the outcome for gain….its not like a coin toss or the other weird ass prop bets

…but really…..i can imagine someone out there screaming and swearing at the TV ….."sing faster/slower you bitch!!"

For the first time in my life I spread some money around during this postseason due to the ease of it being legal in Jersey. Well, other than random super bowl boxes or NCAA brackets.

That sh*t is poison and the sportsbook at the meadowlands is one of the most depressing scenes I've ever witnessed.

Go home dude, your kid just got accepted to Kean and you don't want to have to explain why they have to go to barber school instead.

Good for Andy and about time. I would have hated to see a mediocre, milquetoast, good ol' boy win a super bowl before Andy

So damn happy for Andy Reid, @My3Sons !

For him to have so many wins as Head Coach WITHOUT a SB Championship with it, that was a travesty.

Now he's finally got that missing Championship which all but cements his, imo, future HOF nomination.

I’m happy for Spags too. He did a good job with a good but not great collection of defensive players.

I admit it I thought the Chiefs were shot in the middle of the fourth quarter...it looked like just another Super Bowl where defense beat offense, Giants-Pats, Giants-Bills, Pats-Rams, yadda yadda yadda. Then Mahomes happened - again. I don't know if we'll ever see another playoffs where a champion comes from double-digits behind in all of its playoff games.

That ****ing garbage time TD to seal the game lost me my chance at the big prize in the box pool.

LOL I was beside myself Williams didn't fall down inside the five-yard line on the play and I didn't have a horse in the race at that point. Just getting a first down without scoring would have ended the game with a minute twenty left and the Niners being down to one timeout.

Williams not winning MVP was a joke but the league LOVES Mahomes. I get it so I can't be mad but it still kinda stinks. Williams was the more deserving player IMO. Buddy of mine put $10 on him to win MVP. Would've brought back $220, sucks for him.
