Think of it this way.

The last time a DC team won a title was the Redskins in the 1991-92 NFL season. This was a year and a half before the Panthers were born, and still at a time when more than half the state favored the Redskins.

Our one and only championship came at a time when the internet was available to the public for about 11 years.
