OHL Cup season really gets rolling on Tuesday with the Wild Card Selections and matchups announcements.

Here are the teams and how we sit currently for the event thus far:

Toronto Marlboros
Toronto Jr. Canadiens
Vaughan Kings
Mississauga Reps
Oakville Rangers
Barrie Jr. Colts
York-Simcoe Express
Guelph Jr. Gryphons
London Jr. Knights
Brantford 99ers
Cambridge Hawks/Sun County Panthers
American Team 1
American Team 2
Team HNO
Team NOHA
Team HEO - Ottawa Jr. 67's (obviously questions about this one)

Wildcard:
Quinte Red Devils
Cambridge Hawks/Sun County Panthers
Brampton 45's/Grey-Bruce Highlanders
Mississauga Senators (I think)
Mississauga Rebels (I think)
Selection 1
Selection 2
Selection 3

Anyone want to take a stab at who the Wild Card selection teams will be? I'm thinking Niagara, Peterborough and Don Mills.

Also, with all the questions surrounding the HEO entry, if they were to add another wild card game, who would be teams 4 & 5 that should be selected in your minds?

In the last couple of years the two US entries were TPH and Elite Hockey Group. With Little Caesars looking like they will be in for sure seeing as they were ranked all year in the OHL Cup Rankings, maybe there will be three US teams and that makes up for the lost HEO entry?

I'm not sure what the selection process, but I can't imagine Peterborough being left out.

Don Mills can beat every non Marlboros entry, so i'd hope them as well.

Senators are better and more well rounded than the Rebels. Another good upset team. Hope they make it. Sutherland, Cohen and Haynes are playing really good hockey as of late.

Petes got swept by YSE in the 2nd round and then lost the play-in game to Quinte and didn't even qualify for OMHA's

It's official. No Team HEO this year and there will be 5 Wild Card games with 5 teams being selected by the committee. Let the speculation begin!
