More weather heading that direction for 2nd day in a row despite the optimistic view of Larry Mac; Light rain falling at MIS; 3 OF THE 4 JGR Cars failed pre-race inspection, all but the 19 of Suarez passed inspection, the 11/18/20 FAILED and will not be starting 3rd/8th/10th; Race began 2 hours late, barely made the final stage again;

Roush Fenway update: as regards to the "evaluation of the 6 entry" Matt Kenseth has been now extended another 10 races; at least through the end of the Regular Season" at Indianapolis, no word on Bayne's contract/status or Advocare's sponsorship or what RFR's plans are or will Bayne return to the drivers' seat in 2018, whether it be the 6, XFINITY, or another team?;

2019 National Series schedules are now revealed: no tracks added or removed as had been previously reported about Memphis International Raceway returning or hoping to return; XFINITY schedule remains as it was this season with 33 events....

the only noticeable update in the National Series master schedules, is a date change for Texas in the newly named Gander Outdoors Truck Series (currently CWTS), as the traditional Fall date around the AAA Texas 500 weekend moves to June;
