Bruins Sign Connor Clifton To 2-Year NHL Contract

Clifton played in 54 games with the Providence Bruins in 2017-18, tallying four goals and nine assists for 13 points with 35 penalty minutes and a plus-11 rating. The 23-year-old rookie blueliner ranked fifth on the team in plus/minus and third among the team's defensemen in scoring.

Prior to signing with Providence, Clifton played four seasons of collegiate hockey at Quinnipiac University from 2013-17.

Danforth (15GP 2-3-5) was on a AHL contract with Rochester

The New York Islanders announced today that forward Travis St. Denis has agreed to terms on a two-year, two-way (NHL/AHL) contract.

St. Denis, 25, led the Sound Tigers with a career-high 23 goals, 44 points and 11 power-play goals in 74 games last season. He added a career-best 21 assists during his second professional campaign and became just the fifth Sound Tiger to record five points in a single game when he notched three goals and two assists on March 15, 2018 against the Rochester Americans.
