I'd go Valimaki at 9, and Lipanov at 71...though to be honest I'd probably have taken him at 38 because I didn't expect him to make round 3. I'll trust them on the rest, there's a few I wouldn't mind changing but meh.

I'd have loved to have been able to take Denis Smirnov at 162 or 164 but he went to the Avs at 156. Overall, I kept 5 of the Wings picks though I moved 2 of the picks down in the draft. This is still a draft that adds some grit and NHL size in players like Ruzicka, Setkov, and Adams but also has high end skill in Lipanov, Vilardi, Farrance, and Kuznetsov.

Let's make a rule for this thread: you can't magically assume a player will be there at the next pick after they were drafted. I.e. it's illegitimate to say you'd take Lindstrom at 71.

This would be an incredible draft. Skill coming out the ears, but also size and scoring on the wing, a big goalie with serious potential, and a serious investment in high potential defensemen.
