Ok I figured they'd do that just surprised because the last couple of years they've had a dedicated hour to a special program for it.

I'd imagine it's because the previous 2 years had 1st overall picks that generated a lot of hype, so they could pull that off and have the ratings compensate for the 1 hour block on TV. Maybe that plus only 2 Canadian teams are in the lottery this year so even less people caring to tune in haha.
