Love the Jets lucked into Darnold, but they can't make the same mistake with him they made with Sanchez. The guy started two years in college, don't rush him into the lineup.

And of course the Bills trade up for one of the two remaining QB's.

lol that's just someone looking for attention. The top QB and top RB went in those three. I could see ripping Baker over Darnold (especially for the Browns) and ripping Barkley but I don't know how you rip the Jets taking Darnold.

He gave the Browns a B+ for their other pick despite passing on Chubb.

He doesn’t seem to like either QBs so I have no idea who he wanted the Giants to take. Some Facebook fans wanted them to draft Nelson, the OG, at #2.

I would have been fine with Nelson when the Jets were at 6 but obviously after the trade up they had to take a QB, and wound up with the safest pick of a non-safe bunch.

The New York Jets won this draft. And it took luck and a good poker face.

When the rumors of the Browns taking Mayfield started to surface they didn't flinch. They showed no signs of panic

Maybe they sweated out the Giants pick but with the teams in such close proximity I'm sure the knew the Giants plans. They were taking Barkley. They were going gaga over Barkley despite the need for a franchise QB to take over after Eli. Darnold was tailor made for the Giants.

This day will live in infamy for the Giants. As they let Sam Darnold slip to the Jets of all teams. It's really unbelievable. Barkley will be good but Darnold will be a franchise QB and a damn good one

The only reason the Jets were so high on Mayfield was because they knew Darnold was goodbye gone to the Browns and it was a foregone conclusion. But the Browns had to be the Browns again. Not only did they pass on the best QB in the draft, but they reached for Denzel Ward when the could've had Chubb

The Cleveland Browns need to be outright euthanized. This is sad. Mayfield will not flourish there.

I think that's where Teddy Bridgewater comes in. He plays well(hopefully) for a couple of seasons....THEN the Jets ease Sam into the spotlight.

A lot of you said it wouldn't happen and they would pick a QB.
I heard that for months.

He's the best player in the draft by a long shot.
Home run pick that will terrorize the NFC East for years.

Great job by Buffalo trading up. I'm happy for Allen and will root for him against the teams that passed on him.

Cleveland could look really smart or really dumb with those top two picks.

I don't even think Baker's that bad a pick, he was just the wrong pick for that team. You can't have a high-strung guy compared to Manziel with the Browns. Passing on Chubb at 4 was more laughable to me.

Yes they did but that was because Darnold was either a Giant or a Brown. Somehow he's neither. They never thought this pipe dream would come true

If Baker Mayfield knocked on the front door of Florham Park now proclaiming he told the Browns to f off and wants to be a Jets they'd escort him from the premises.
