Would be interesting to see if Gelinas is scratched again tonight. Parisi took a puck to the face at the end of the last game in Toronto, he's been playing well ever since his 3 goal weekend. Leblanc has been looking better than expected. Bourque has been underwhelming. I'm predicting (if Parisi is ready to play)
Taormina - Lernout
Parisi - Jerabek
Gelinas - Leblanc
they still have to bench a vet

Gelina hasn't exactly forced his way into the lineup. For a guy who's fighting for his career he's been pretty lackluster.

Agreed, it will be interesting to see what they do when Juulsen and Schlemko are back. Looks like Mete is staying in the NHL. Morrow possibly coming down. Can't see them keeping Bourque and Gelinas. I can see:

Taormina - Juulsen
Morrow - Lernout
Jerabek - Parisi/Leblanc

A lot more solid than what we see now.

1-0 Marlies.

By the way, Terry is out and Gelinas has been inserted as the 7th defenseman since there are only 11 forwards.

You can see it when Laval is missing Scherbak, Terry, and McCarron. And Eisenschmid's absence is surely being felt as well.

Despite Laval's crappy start to this game, it looks like another good turnout. I wonder what the attendance is. But it looks like a lot gathered tonight.

2-0 after the 1st period. Toronto dominated almost the whole period. Laval got off to a good start, then let the Marlies take over for the next 15 minutes. And the last 3-4 minutes, Laval picked it up again.

Just announced: about 5,200 fans tonight. Another good turnout. Less than last Wednesday but still a good attendance for a weekday game.
