What's interesting about EJ is that the pictures of him skating show him without a sling or anything, meaning he can at least move his shoulder. If he was going to have surgery on it, they would have done it already, so no sling means it's not as bad as it looked.

Imagine replacing Lindholm/Siemens with Barbie and EJ on the back end. Replacing Yak and Toni with Ghetto and Kam up front. And Bernier starting every 2nd game.


Huge, huge difference in skill on the roster and a legitimately good shot at making a run into the playoffs with those guys inserted back into the lineup.

Highly doubtful. I don't think he's out of the non-contact jersey yet. The most optimistic guesses have him back in a week or so, but I'm skeptical of that timeline.
