Nope. Still holding to it. He hasn't been playing all that well, so I think he falls into the "unlikely to score right now, but not stupidly low chance."

I'm trying to avoid picking a defenseman, because they tend to score less to begin with. That may change.

I mix it up with a defenceman every once in a while. But yeah ... Even a good goal scoring defenseman will rarely score the first goal, as they score most of their goals on the PP. Since a game starts 5 vs 5, and you could go on the entire first period without even getting a PP, you're rarely gonna win this with a defenseman. I think I did it with Vatanen once two years ago, think that's the only time.
