Boll is a heart and soul player. Haven't seen him this year but he was always a tough guy who could skate and really lay the body. More useful then Derek Grant or Chris Wagner on the ducks. Or plugs like Scott Wilson Freddie Hamilton or brock mcginn. 4th liners who don't score hit or fight.

Wagner and Grant have stepped up phenomenally. Boll can't play, and can't fight any more....not sure what role he is heart and soul for, other than getting the door to the bench open and closed for line changes

Last year he actually looked like an NHLer in his short stint with the Sharks and especially in the AHL playoffs for the Cuda. He hasn't looked good this year, but he definitely could be a diamond in the rough if he picks up his game.

He'd had a good amount of games in, just hasn't found any offense. Our 4th line is a revolving door of players anyways. We're just trying out everybody to see who will fit I think.

It's weird that you can claim a player tomorrow after the roster freeze has taken effect. The logical thing would have been to tell teams that yesterday was the last opportunity to waive a player so that the claim can be made prior to the freeze.

question about waiver pick up priority. Since washington lost him on waivers to edmonton, did they get first shot at him? If not, then the oilers are lucky because washington was near the end of the list . The oilers wanted to clear a roster spot from their 50 man list and washintgton did them a solid.
